Since my days as an art student, I have continued to release music predominantly based on sampling. However, in pursuit of creating works that detach from the mundane and the dexterous aspects of myself, I have begun to delve into painting as well. The sense of color and compositional elements I have cultivated over the years through music and my environment always resides within me. My goal in expression is not simply to paint skillfully, but to transcend the images formed in my mind. In the process of painting, I repeatedly retry and layer errors to explore new "images." Lately, I have also been challenging myself to naturally fuse music and painting. The works born from sampling the images accumulated in my mind, much like in music, and reconstructing them are something only I can create. Moreover, I believe the long coexistence and fusion with music generate value as contemporary art.
